Steps stop counting in the background

Some phones stop apps in the background to save battery, which pauses counting.

1. Run the brand setup again. The Self-check screen has Open brand setup. It shows the right steps for your phone’s brand.
2. Set Step Counter’s battery use to Unrestricted in Android’s Settings.
3. Keep the counting notification on. Android lets apps with one keep running.
4. Use the Self-check screen to confirm everything is set.
