See all the PDFs on your phone

The first time you open PDF Reader, it asks whether to show all the PDFs on your phone.

• Allow: Android opens the All files access screen. Turn it on for PDF Reader, and your library fills with every PDF on the phone.
• Skip: the app still works. You open files from other apps or with the file picker, and you can add folders you choose.

PDF Reader only uses this access to find PDFs. Your files stay on your phone.

You can change your mind later in Android’s Settings, under Apps, PDF Reader, then All files access.

Without all files access, Android doesn’t let any app see some folders, such as Download, so a few files may not show in the library. Open them from your files app instead.
